About Jean Rebeck...
Jean Rebeck was born and raised in northern Indiana
just a short drive from the Windy City of Chicago. After graduating
from East Gary Edison Sr. High, Jean attended Ball State University
in Muncie, IN. A year later she left the university and took a
job with Merrill Lynch at the Board of Trade in Chicago working
with options and gaining experience in the wild world of finance.
Jean later traveled to California, Colorado and Connecticut, and
in 1979, settled in Boulder, Colorado for 10 years working as
a mortgage closer, officer and lender. In 1989 after losing her
position during a hostel take over of the small but very successful
mortgage company she worked for, she moved to Florida and continued
her journey in the field of real estate as a closer with the law
firm of Batsel, McKinley and Ittersagen in Englewood. For 10 years
Jean closed transactions for many local realtors and developers
and honed her skills before leaving the law firm to begin her
own career along side those brokers and sales associates she assisted
and had come to know during a decade of successful real estate
closings.
Jean Rebeck earned her real estate sales license in 1999 and
soon after expanded her knowledge by achieving her broker's license.
Jean has 28 years of real estate knowledge and experience, which
includes real estate office management, real estate sales, title
examination, real estate closings and mortgage lending with 8
of those years as manager of a very successful real estate office
in Boca Grande. After a brief hiatus from real estate, Jean has
returned to lend her experience and expertise to Coconut Bay Realty,
LLC and its customers. Jean's community knowledge and experience
is a benefit she enjoys sharing to enhance the Coconut Bay team.
From the beach to the golf course, Jean offers home buyers and
sellers help to achieve their real estate goals. Knowing the challenges
in this current real estate environment is the key to her success.
